      Since 1991 Albert "Bert" Tobia and Dora J. Hillyer Have been partners in Tobia & Hillyer Financial and Tax Services, Inc., located in Fairfield, New Jersey. Bert and Dora have been in the income tax business since 1970.      

      Dora J. Hillyer is an Enrolled Agent, income tax consultant, and lecturer. Ms. Hillyer earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 1997. Ms. Hillyer earned her elder care specialist certification in 2006. Her career started 39 years ago in Des Moines, Iowa and relocated to New Jersey in 1983.
      Bert Tobia is an Enrolled Agent, income tax consultant, and lecturer. His extensive experience includes serving as District Manager for a national tax preparation firm for over twenty years in Essex, Bergen, Passaic and Hudson Counties. Bert has served on the National Advisory Committee for that firm and was awarded national recognition for Public Relations. Bert is also a registered representative of First Allied Securities.

     Tobia & Hillyer's area of expertise are personal and business taxes. They have been quoted in many major and local newspapers in addition to national magazines. They have given presentations to various groups including Chamber of Commerce, Board of Realtors, major brokerage houses, civic groups, savings and insurance institutions. In addition, they are on staff for continuing education credits at the West Caldwell Adult School and the Kovats School of Real Estate & Insurance. They have also appeared on various cable and network TV and radio shows and have participated on the Governor's panel promoting home ownership in New Jersey.
